Child Safety Standards

Last updated: October 17, 2026

These standards apply to Peeka (peeka.pics), the photo Q&A app published on Google Play as Peeka Pics (also listed as Peeka: Photo Q&A) by developer Mirat Can Bayrak, and operated by Gergedan LLC.

Zero tolerance for CSAE

Peeka strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This includes:

  • child sexual abuse material (CSAM): any photo or other content that sexualizes or shows the sexual abuse of a minor;
  • grooming: building a relationship with a minor to sexually exploit them, including through comments or questions sent to someone's inbox;
  • sextortion, trafficking, and any request, offer, or promotion of sexual content involving minors;
  • sexualized comments about minors.

Peeka is for people aged 18 and over. Accounts that break these rules are removed permanently.

How to report

Report any photo, comment or profile from its ⋯ menu, and an inbox question with Block sender → “Also report this question”. You can also email [email protected] directly. Every report is reviewed by a person.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.

What we do

  • We remove CSAE content as soon as we find it.
  • We permanently ban the accounts involved.
  • We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as US law requires, and cooperate with law enforcement.
  • We keep the evidence that law enforcement needs, and nothing more, for as long as the law requires.
