What we collect

• Email address — when you request an invitation, or when you add an email to your account for notifications and password recovery.
• Account details — your username and a hashed password. Your password is never stored in plain text.
• Content you create — photos you upload, questions, answers, comments, notes, and private messages.
• Basic technical data — our server keeps standard logs (such as IP address and request times) for security and debugging.

How we use it

• To run the service — sign you in, show your content, and let people interact.
• To send transactional email — invitation responses, email confirmation, password resets, and notifications. We do not send marketing email.
• To keep the site safe and fix problems.

We do not sell your data, and we do not run ads or third-party analytics.

Who else sees it

We use Resend to deliver email. Your email address is shared with them only so the message can be sent. The site runs on a private server, and uploaded photos are stored there.

Anything you post publicly on Peeka — photos, answers, comments — is visible to other members of the community.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and the data tied to it at any time — just email us. You can also update or remove your email in your account settings.
